“First time to visit and we signed up for an October ghost tour. We loved the way it was set up with the first 40 minutes listening to audio and one video and then understanding their process of debunking the caputures. The rest of the tour was spent visiting the inside of 3 homes...lights off in all 3 homes...with only the red mode of the tour guides flashlight to guide us and, of course, hearing about the background of the houses and paranormal activities that happened on some of the tours. I would love to see an event added with a 4 person limit plus the tour guide using paranormal equipment in one of the homes, during the late night hours of course. Would definitely be signing up for that tour!”

“I went to chestnut square to find information for my wedding unfortunately we couldn’t afford a wedding for personal reasons but then the beautiful lady who attended me who’s name is Sharla was so kind showing me around the house and suggested me a photo session so we could have at least a memory of our important date so she convinced us and we make it and I’m so happy that she did that because if it wasn’t for her we wouldn’t have such a beautiful nice memories of our day, thank you so much Sharla and Chestnut team you guys are amazing!! You attention is so sweet and kind it just make you feel at home, they really understand the whole thing about it 🥰💕😘😍❤️❤️ 10 of 10!”
“Saturday morning farmers market is great! Fresh produce n meats n baked goods and many other great vendors with local products! Check it out on a nice Saturday morning and stock up your pantry with fresh produce for the week!”
“Amazing preservation of local history. Tours have to be reserved in advance online. The tour is well worth it. Very informative with some fun tales. The buildings are well-kept and well-furnished. The gift shop hosts the world record for the most ice cream freezers. This alone is worth the trip. Very friendly staff. Not crowded. Went on a weekday.”
“Review not necessary, because it looks like everyone feels the same way. We had a flawless Wedding and Reception at Chestnut. Our coordinator Kim did such a fantastic Job with the details and directed the event superbly. The atmosphere was so comfortable. The Reception outside and in gave the gathering something special. The lighting and grounds made everyone feel they were at a special place. The Chapel and Brides house amazing, and the Grooms had a hangout as well. If you are looking for a wedding venue or another occasion this is your place!”
