“The girl scout cookies are great; however, the thin mint cookies I bought from the girl scouts at Chuy's in Plano lastnight turned out to crumble everywhere on my desk when just trying to open the package. They crumbled more removing them from the package and fell apart when I held them. I had a big mess of cookies to clean up after each cookie. Crumbs were everywhere. They tasted OK and the expiration isn't until June 1 '26 but I don't know how long they've held onto the cookies before we got them. I'm not interested buying more girl scout cookies if this is what every box of cookies will be like. They're too messy!”

“Ok, girls scout is just a fun thing to get into if you are a girl!!!
I went in this store and left like a kid shopping for my girls in 3 different troops!
They have everything for my kids plus more!
So fun going and picking!!
Will come back!”
“The staff is very welcoming and very helpful. The store is always stocked up with everything. All in all, it is always a pleasant trip here.”
“Store was nice, organized and had a lot to offer along with space to walk around. The staff was friendly and helpful.”
“This is a low performance council. They do not provide support to new troop leaders, the communication is dismal, and the events are a JOKE. It is almost always crafts. Compare their event offerings with any other Texas council and they come up lacking. You'd think a council centered in Dallas could get some great funding, program partners, and services for their membership - but this is just not the case. Outlying areas, staff, volunteers, (and ultimately) the girls are not receiving any benefits from their membership with this council. Camp properties are not being leveraged as the valuable outdoor connections they could be. I don't know what they're doing to justify the salaries of their paid employees (400k+ for CEO alone). Do not subject your daughter(s) to the child labor that is cookie sales and the time suck & stress it is on the parents; to ultimately pay for "programming'. What programming? I don't see it & haven't seen it for the three years we've been mucking though. Save your time and hard earned money and do not invest either into this council until they SHOW UP for our girls and volunteers. This is the most egregious waste of funds & time I have ever spent on the GS program. GOOD LUCK.✌”
